hello fellow rwc members!
I am glad to announce that we have a new member, Joelle Tan. She is Public Relations Manager/Chief Sleeper.
Without further ado, the various pieces of work:
The Life of Sam
By Louise
Inspired in part by "The Many Lives of Sam"
Sam on the kerb
picking flowers for his history project
"Why did ancient civilizaions have pots?"
which was to be in the style of a narrative
He was good at characterization
He wanted to do this well for once
Not to be laughed at any more
He remembered the morning at PE
when he lost his balance
crashed on the floor
everyone laughing
mocking him "Idiot!" "Loser!"
They shunned him
He wanted to prove himself
Then a car
a screech
a crash
Fibrogens rushing with platelets
to clot the blood
flowing like a river
meandering across the road
He woke up
"Who am I?"
A histogram attached to a report
showed something dreadful
Short term memory
Permanent
All just to prove himself
A sacrifice that failed
The many lives of Sam
(a limerick)
By Louise, Kwang Lin, Wan Qin
Edited by Louise
There was a fibrogen named Sam
Who was in a histrogram
He swam in a meander
Hot eaten by a hamster
Ate too many flowers and went "Bam"
Sam was doing characterization
in the Indus Valley civilization
He lost his balance
Got stung by a lens
Got short term memory, got lost in a station
And the wonderful piece of work, "A funny sentence"
By Kwang Lin, Wan Qin and Louise
Flowers are not enough to give you balance because you have short term memory caused by the fibrogen meandering in the characterization of the civilization in your brain like a histogram.
